Held in Birmingham, the band’s hometown, the farewell concert featured not just iconic performances, but also a charitable dimension of epic proportions: more than $190 million were raised for nonprofit causes, making it one of the most generous rock events in music history.

According to The Guardian, the global livestream attracted over 5 million viewers, each purchasing access for around $30 USD. This alone brought in $150 million, all of which was donated thanks to the participating bands waiving their fees.
Who received the donations?
The event's full proceeds were distributed equally to three organizations:
Cure Parkinson’s – supporting research and therapies
Birmingham Children’s Hospital – helping young patients locally
Acorn’s Children’s Hospice – providing palliative care and support to families
