While official times are yet to be fully confirmed by the band, based on the Cardiff shows, here’s what to expect:

  • Gates Open: 3:00 PM (Ticketmaster indicates 3:30 PM, so be prepared!)

  • Support Act – Cast: 6:00 PM

  • Support Act – Richard Ashcroft: 7:00 PM

  • Headline Act – Oasis: 8:15 PM

  • Concert Curfew: 10:30 PM

Digital Ticketing – What You Must Know

  • Digital tickets only: Screenshots will not be accepted.

  • Download in advance: There's no public Wi-Fi at the venue, so download your tickets via the app beforehand.

  • Charge your phone: Ensure your phone is fully charged before you arrive.

  • Transfer tickets: If friends are arriving separately, transfer their tickets to them at least 48 hours before the show via the app to avoid delays at the gates.

  • No re-entry: Once you're inside, you cannot leave and re-enter.

☔ Note: All shows are open-air, but concerts go ahead rain or shine. Always check the latest forecast before heading out and dress appropriately.

 

Entry Rules – What’s Allowed & What’s Not

  • Bag policy: Only small bags (smaller than A4 paper) are allowed. Expect longer wait times due to bag searches, even for small bags. Backpacks are not permitted.

  • Prohibited items: Chairs/stools of any kind, illegal substances (zero tolerance), glass (bottles, cans, spray cans), laser equipment, fireworks, flares, Chinese lanterns, klaxons, air horns, weapons, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, personal motorised vehicles (unless a mobility scooter), umbrellas, professional camera equipment, drones, large flags/banners, outside food and drink (empty plastic refillable water bottles are allowed).

  • Medication: Bring a prescription for any medication for security checks upon arrival.

  • Standing gig: It's a fully standing event; no outside seating is permitted.

  • Searches: You may be searched upon entry. Confiscated items will not be returned.

 

Accessibility at Heaton Park

  • Accessible entrances: All entrances will have a wider lane suitable for accessible customers. There isn't a dedicated accessible entrance.

  • Assistance dogs: Permitted.

Food & Drink

  • Cashless venue: Only card/contactless payments will be accepted.

  • Water stations: Refill points will be available on-site for your empty plastic bottles.

  • Challenge 21: ID will be required to purchase alcohol.

  • Responsible drinking: Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

 

Travel & Getting There

Heaton Park is expected to be extremely busy. Plan your journey well in advance.

 

Public Transport

  • Tram: The most recommended way to get to Heaton Park.

    • From City Centre: Head to Victoria Station for direct trams to Bury. A six-minute service will operate, carrying 4,000 passengers an hour.

    • For Front Standing tickets: Get off at Bowker Vale stop, closest to the Sheepfoot Lane entrance.

    • Returning: The Heaton Park stop will close at 9:00 PM. Use Bowker Vale for returning to Bury and the city centre after the shows.

    • Engineering work: No trams from Piccadilly Station to city centre stops.

    • Last trams: Vary by date (e.g., July 11, 12, 19: last tram to city centre 2:02 AM, to Bury 1:16 AM).

  • Buses:

    • Shuttle buses: Frequent shuttle buses from Lever Street in the Northern Quarter (11-min walk from Piccadilly train station) from 1:30 PM until 7:30 PM on event days.

    • Return buses: Start running back to Manchester from a temporary bus station inside Heaton Park from 10:00 PM.

    • Tickets: Limited shuttle bus tickets (£10) must be purchased in advance via the Bee Network app.

    • Diversions: Expect diversions for regular bus services (41, 59, 66, 90, 94, 135, 156) from 8:00 PM on event days.

 

Driving & Park & Ride​​

  • Road closures: Extensive road closures will be in place around the event site from 9:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Middleton Road, Sheepfoot Lane, Blackley New Road, Meade Hill Road, Bury Old Road, Scholes Lane, Whiteaker Lane). Some additional closures may start from 6:00 PM if needed.

  • Traffic restrictions: Sheepfoot Lane & Meade Hill Road will be clearways (no waiting, parking, or loading) from 9:00 AM – 1:00 AM.

  • Park & Ride: Utilize the 24 park and ride sites in Greater Manchester. Recommended sites on the Bury line are Whitefield (331 spaces) and Radcliffe (480 spaces).

  • Best advice: Walk or use public transport!

 

Walking

  • Signposted route: A well-signposted walking route directly from Exchange Square/Victoria station along Cheetham Hill Road / Bury Old Road is the best and quickest way to and from the venue. It's approximately a 50-minute walk.
