Oasis Fever Hits Manchester –

Where to Party & Pay Tribute Like It’s 1994

They said it would never happen. But here we are, knee-deep in bucket hats, Parkas, and perfectly poured pints — Oasis are officially back, and Manchester is losing its collective mind (again). With five monster gigs at Heaton Park this July, it’s not just about the concerts — it’s about the vibes before and after. Whether you're holding golden tickets or just want to bask in Britpop brilliance from the sidelines, Manchester has plenty on for you. Here's your no-nonsense guide to Oasis week: parties, DJs, drinks, and 90s magic.

42s Lets You Wear That Oasis Shirt

📍 42s, 2 Bootle St, M2 5GU
📅 11th, 12th, 16th & 19th July

Yes, that club. The most indie venue in town is doing what it does best — but this time, it’s bending the rules for a special cause: football shirts are allowed (only Oasis ones, mind). So dig out that ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ away strip and dance like it’s 1995. Expect wall-to-wall Oasis, Britpop bangers, and a sea of Mancs singing into their pints.

Deaf Institute – Britpop Anthems & Birthday Freebies

📍 Deaf Institute, 135 Grosvenor St, M1 7HE
📅 11th, 12th, 16th & 19th July | ⏰ From 11pm

If there’s any venue that lives and breathes Manchester music culture, it’s the Deaf Institute. And they’re not missing this party. Their Oasis After Party will be loaded with all the bangers — from Oasis and The Stone Roses to Pulp, Blur, Courteeners, Arctic Monkeys, and anyone who ever wore a parka on stage.

Bonus:
If your birthday falls between July 4th–18th, or you’re a proud NHS legend, you can get in for free. Just email hello@throwbackevents.co.uk with the subject line ‘Oasis After Party Manchester’. Legends only.

Gorilla – Oasis v The World (Spoiler: Oasis Wins)

📍 Gorilla, 54–56 Whitworth St, M1 5WW
📅 Same nights | ⏰ 11pm–4am

When the gig’s done and your voice is half gone from shouting “Soooooo Sally can wait!” — you’ll want somewhere with cheap pints, top indie DJs, and a queue that moves faster than the Northern Line. That place is Gorilla.

They’re going full send with their Oasis V The World series — indie anthems, Oasis classics, beer deals, and a dancefloor full of Mancs who all think they could replace Bonehead in a heartbeat.

Definitely Maybe Bar – It’s Got Guitars, Maracas & Madness

📍 Definitely Maybe Bar, 52 Church St, M4 1PW
📅 10th–20th July | ⏰ All day, every day

This Northern Quarter hangout might be new, but it’s already legendary. Definitely Maybe Bar has settled in with style – and we mean that literally. There's a huge Oasis mosaic on the front, Liam’s maracas on the wall, and a Noel-signed guitar framed like it’s sacred. This isn’t a bar – it’s a pilgrimage.

To celebrate the big Heaton Park homecoming, they’ve teamed up with Oasis Mania to serve up 10 days of pre- and afterparties featuring special guest DJs, gig-day drinks, and enough nostalgia to fill an entire bootcut jeans section at Afflecks.

🎟️ Book tickets for Heaton Park Day Parties here

Entry info:
• Free entry until 9pm (on non-gig days)
• £5 entry after 9pm unless ticketed

This is your pre-drink HQ whether you’re heading to the show or just vibing with the Gallagher gods in spirit.

Mulligans – Two Floors, One Love (and a Guinness with Port)

📍 Mulligans, 12 Southgate, M3 2RB
📅 Open daily | Live music all weekend

If you like your indie anthems with a splash of Irish soul, Mulligans is calling. Known for its Guinness-soaked charm and live tunes, this Deansgate institution is doing what it does best: pumping out bangers across two floors while pouring more Guinness than Liam tweets insults.

There’s a balcony view, anthems from Oasis, The Smiths, The Pogues and beyond, and a serious amount of Manc pride in the air. And yes – Liam really does like a splash of port in his pint, so why not raise one in his honour?

🎟️ Free entry – but get there early, this place fills up faster than a queue for standing pit wristbands.
